I visited London this week, and had a trip on the London eye, which was excellent! The views were spectacular, particularly as the whole of London was in view.
It was a beautiful, clear day, so both my family, and I managed to take some good pictures.
I had a fall in the middle of the road on Friday, whilst walking to my work placement.
Unfortunately, my shoe was caught in the cats eye, and I toppled over onto my knees. Thankfully, there were not any cars coming, so I had enough time to both stand up, and quickly walk to the edge of the road!
My knees were cut, and bruised, but my trousers were absolutely fine. More importantly, they did not rip.
I often have dreams about falling in the middle of the road, which is terrifying!
I had an excellent 18th birthday on Thursday, which I celebrated at the Beefeater restaurant with both my family, and three friends, known as Louise, Vivi (my cousin), and Becky.
The food was delicious, particularly the desserts! Unfortunately, I was almost under the table at the end of the meal, because I had eaten too much.
I was astounded by the kindness everyone had shown. I do not think I have ever had so many cards, or presents!!
I took my theory test this week, which was exceedingly frightening! However, I think I was more worried about driving all the way to Canterbury.
Thankfully, the drive was excellent, particularly as I was able to drive along the country roads!! I wasn't even honked at.
Once I arrived at the test centre, I had to go into a large room, where I sat my test on the computer.
There were fifty questions within the exam, including a hazard perception part, which was the hardest of the two!
The best part of the day was when I was told I had passed the test. I was not sure if I had passed, because I was nervous.
Now I just have to wait for the worst part of the test, known as the practical driving test!
My current work placement is situated at Wyvern junior school, located within Ashford, Kent.
The school is specialised, because it is for children with learning difficulties, and developmental problems. For example:-
Autism. Therefore, many of the children are unable to verbally communicate with others. However, the children are extremely kind, and immediately made me feel welcome! One of the children even held my hand, and hugged me.
I am being provided with excellent experiences within the school, and enjoy assisting the children with their activities, particularly playing in the sandpit. I feel I have gained a real knowledge from this placement.
One of the children regularly lashes out, which was quite frightening at first, because I had several bruises, and scratches! Nevertheless, they were only war wounds.
Wednesday was an extremely tiring, but adventurous day, as I had an interview for Occupational Therapy, situated at Canterbury Christ Church university.
Before we arrived at the university, a jolly man from a restaurant was giving away free sausage rolls, which were delicious!
The university is rather confusing, because there are many buildings, including a lack of appropriate signing.
The secretary of a particular building was exceedingly rude to my mum, dad, and I! This was because she told us just to sit down, without checking we were in the correct building. Unfortunately, we were waiting over an hour, and a half, as we were in the wrong building!
A different secretary phoned a lady to come and collect us.
Thankfully, we did not miss anything, and I feel the interview went successfully! The man who interviewed me was very kind, and asked a range of questions!
I have recently heard from the two universities I have applied for, which are known as Brunel, and Canterbury Christ Church.
I will be visiting them both, to have a look at the environments. Unfortunately, Brunel is situated in West London, so it will be a long way to travel if I go there for university!
Many individuals within my class are waiting for replies from the universities of their choices. A girl I knew from primary school has been offered a place at Cambridge university, which she is extremely pleased about.
I am excited about moving on from college, but anxious at the same time, particularly as it is three more years of studying!
Yesterday afternoon, I took a step backwards in town, and twisted both my leg, and ankle. This was because I feel down an open drain, which was exceedingly deep!
It is the second time it has happened to me. I seem to be tremendously clumsy!!
Thankfully, no major damage occurred, apart from embarrassment, and a sore foot. A poor elderly individual probably would have severely harmed themselves.
I will try to watch where I am heading in the future, because there are many holes within the streets.
It has been a wonderful Christmas, particularly as it has been full of laughter, and family!!
During Christmas day, my Grandad, and Dorothy visited. We ate a delicious Christmas dinner, particularly as my mum cooked it. My favourite was definitely the Brussels sprouts, and bread sauce. My brother Matthew even called me a skank, because I ate some of his leftover dinner!
I received a range of presents, which were all excellent. Everyone was extremely generous. My main present was a mobile phone from my parents. Daniel, my brother brought me Hairspray on DVD, that reminded me of Canada, because it was the first film I had ever seen in a Canadian cinema.
My other Grandad visited on Boxing day, and we walked (Grandad ran) around the Singleton lake, situated behind our home!

My mum is flying to Romania on Tuesday, for the second time with the church.
She will be gone for ten whole days, and both my dad, and I will miss her terribly! Thankfully, she is going to bring us home the nicest chocolate I have ever tasted, which I will be looking forward to.
During her visit, my mum, and the other three ladies attending the trip may be visiting a variety of homes, where they will receive a large quantity of cold mashed potato! During their church visit, all four ladies must wear appropriate clothing, including head scarfs. Unfortunately, the church service is not translated for the team, so it is difficult for the team to understand.
My mum loves Romania, and she may even move their in the future!
My mum, and I attended a pudding evening on Friday evening, which was excellent!
I was allowed to drive at 60mph on my previous driving lesson, which was excellent. It felt as though I was flying through the air!
My driving instructor was holding onto his seat frantically, as I whizzed around the country roads. Thankfully, I did not cause an accident, or crash!
Most individuals say that I take after my dad, because he loves driving fast, and pretends that he is a formula one racing driver!!
Even though, I was driving at this speed, three drivers still overtook me.
Yesterday, my dad, mum, and I visited Hamstreet, where we watched a large amount of fireworks.
The fireworks were many different colours, and lasted for around half an hour. The best fireworks, were the whizzers, which created swirl shapes in the sky!
Everyone from the village, Hamstreet, had come to watch the firework display, and the bonfire, that was burning wildly.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable time! Next year is already booked!!
It has been half-term this week, but it has been extremely fast, and it barely feels as though I have had a break!
I have had another driving lesson this week, which was frightening! I think I am improving with my steering!!
Louise visited on Monday, where we ate at pizza hut. It was very packed, and neither Louise, or I had enough space to eat dessert.
I have had to apply for my choices for university, including conducting a personal statement. It has been quite stressful, and worrying, particularly if the univeristy do not accept me.
